During and after our recent match with Wivey certain supporters were heard calling the name Shrek everytime I went near the ball (which didn't happen very often).

As one of the better looking members at Wyvern I feel much maligned by this.

In fact I view myself to be on a par (in the looks dpt) with Duggie the sex god James

And Brendon (well we can all dream can't we) and not one of the front row players who look like a waking horror show that's walked into a wall face first once too often to be healthy.

To settle the matter once and for all I have sent these photo's in, and as you can clearly see I bear no resemblance to the cartoon character Shrek who is green skinned and frankly rather brutish looking . Thank you very much .

Geoff, unsure which picture was which we were able to get a couple of children to point out which was the brutish looking one and which was Shrek.

We then realised that the light may have been wrong for your photo and corrected it slightly. So now we can do a proper comparison:

There we have it. Conclusive evidence that Geoff is indeed NOT Shrek: he is his twin brother!
